How can we help?

Texas Holdem Bonus Poker

Adding to the excitement of the main Hold’em game is the Bonus bet, the result of which is based solely on the first two dealt cards to the player and dealer. The Bonus bet is paid regardless of the result of the main hand.

As if that weren’t enough, players have the opportunity to win the ever-increasing network-wide Progressive Jackpot, adding even more excitement to an already thrilling game.

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker can be played by an unlimited number of players simultaneously, which means mounting excitement and a potentially huge Jackpot figure, as all placed Progressive Jackpot side bets contribute to the growing top prize.

Fixed lower-level Jackpot prizes are available in every round of the game, with payouts of up to a generous €2,500 (or local currency equivalents), if you are not able to land the five-card Royal Flush required to claim the top Jackpot prize.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Unique Poker variant with three additional chances to bet in each game round
  • Multiple chances to win with Bonus and Progressive Jackpot bets
  • Fixed value and Progressive Jackpot prizes with huge winning potential

The objective of the Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is to beat the dealers’ hand by getting the best possible five-card hand, made out of the two cards dealt to the players and five community cards.

THE ANTE AND OPTIONAL SIDE BETS

To participate in the game, an Ante bet must be placed. You may also make an optional Bonus bet and an optional Progressive Jackpot bet. Both side bets are evaluated separately at the end of each game and provide an entirely separate opportunity to win.

THE INITIAL DEAL

During the initial deal, two face-up cards are dealt to you, known as Hole cards, while the dealer receives two face-down cards.

DECISION 1 – PLAY OR FOLD (THE FLOP BET)

Once you’ve evaluated your cards, you can opt to continue playing by placing a Play bet (which is double the Ante bet and placed automatically on the Flop bet spot) or Fold and lose the Ante bet.

Following this, three face-up community cards called Flop cards are dealt.

DECISION 2 – PLAY OR CHECK (THE TURN BET)

You now must decide to Play the amount of 1x Ante or to Check. If you choose to make a Play bet, 1x Ante bet will automatically be placed on the Turn bet spot. Another card face up is then dealt (the Turn card).

DECISION 3 – PLAY OR CHECK (THE RIVER BET)

You must now decide to Play the amount of 1x Ante or to Check. If you choose to make a Play bet, 1x Ante bet will automatically be placed on the River bet spot. After this, the final community card, known as the River card, is dealt face-up on the table.

THE DEALER CARD’S REVEALED

The dealer then reveals their two initial cards.

You and the dealer will now form your optimal five-card poker hand, using your two initial cards alongside the five community cards.

If the dealer’s hand beats the player’s hand

  • The player loses all bets in the main game (Ante, Flop, Turn and River bets)
  • The Bonus bet and the Progressive Jackpot bet will pay on qualifying hands no matter what hand the dealer achieves.

If the dealer and player have hands of equal value

  • The Ante, Flop, Turn and River bets will all push
  • The Bonus bet and the Progressive Jackpot bet will pay on qualifying hands no matter what hand the dealer achieves.

If the player’s hand beats the dealer’s hand

  • The player wins even money on the Flop, Turn and River bets
  • The player wins even money on the Ante bet only if the player’s hand is a Straight or better, otherwise the Ante bet pushes
  • The Bonus bet and the Progressive Jackpot bet will pay on qualifying hands no matter what hand the dealer achieves.

THE BONUS BET

To make a Bonus bet, an Ante bet must be placed first. The Bonus bet is based on the first two cards dealt to you and potentially the dealer’s initial two cards, which could lead to the highest payout.

In the main game, the Bonus bet pays out regardless of whether you win or lose against the dealer. If your first two cards form a pair and you’ve made a Bonus bet, you can receive a payout of 3:1 to 30:1, according to the payout table. If not, you’ll lose the Bonus bet.

The highest payout of 1000:1 for the Bonus bet is awarded when both you and the dealer are dealt a pair of Aces as the first two cards, also known as Player AA and Dealer AA.

THE PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT SIDE BET

The pool of the Progressive Jackpot increases until someone wins with a Royal Flush. If a player at a participating table places a Jackpot bet and gets a Royal Flush, all players who placed the Jackpot bet in that round share the total amount on the meter.

For a chance at a winning the Jackpot, only the player’s first five cards are considered. These consist of the player’s first two cards and the first three community cards (known as the ‘Flop’).

Placing the additional side bet can also result in fixed prizes for players. As with the Bonus bet, the Progressive Jackpot side bet pays out regardless of whether you win or lose the main game against the dealer.
