How can we help?

If I’m located within Ontario but near the provincial border, will I be accurately located?

In most cases, yes; however, if you are located less than a kilometer from the border, you may be blocked from play and will need to move further away from the border and try again. Your IP address may also be incorrectly placing you in a neighboring country, which is restricted from platform. To be able to play close to the border, please follow the recommendations below:

For IOS: Make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled (connection to Wi-Fi network is not required).

To enable location:  Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services turn location sharing on or off).

 To enable Wi-Fi: Here are the steps to enable Wi-Fi on your IOS:

1.      Open the Settings app from your home screen or app drawer.

2.      Tap on “Network & internet” (or “Connections” on some devices).

3.      Select “Wi-Fi”.

4.      Toggle the switch next to “Wi-Fi” to turn it on.

5.      Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to from the list of available networks.

6.      Enter the network password if prompted, then tap “Connect

To enable Bluetooth:  Here are the steps to enable Bluetooth on your IOS:

1.      Open the Settings app from your Home screen.

2.      Tap on “Bluetooth”.

3.      Toggle the switch next to “Bluetooth” to the “on” position. The switch should turn green.

4.      Wait for your device to scan for available Bluetooth devices.

5.      Select the device you want to connect to from the list.

6.      Enter the device’s pairing code if prompted, then tap “Pair”


For Android: make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled

To enable location:  Location>Location Service>Location accuracy should be turned “ON”, Wi-Fi scanning is set to “ON”, Bluetooth scanning is set to “ON”.

To enable Wi-Fi:

1.      Open the Settings app from your home screen or app drawer.

2.      Tap on “Network & internet” (or “Connections” on some devices).

3.      Select “Wi-Fi”.

4.      Toggle the switch next to “Wi-Fi” to turn it on.

5.      Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to from the list of available networks.

6.      Enter the network password if prompted, then tap “Connect

To enable Bluetooth:

 Here are the steps to enable Bluetooth on your Android device:

1.      Open the Settings app from your home screen or app drawer.

2.      Tap on “Connected devices” (or “Connections” on some devices).

3.      Select “Connection preferences” if needed, then tap on “Bluetooth”.

4.      Toggle the switch next to “Bluetooth” to turn it on.

5.      Wait for your device to scan for available Bluetooth devices.

6.      Select the device you want to connect to from the list.

7.      Enter the device’s pairing code if prompted, then tap “Pair”.

 For Mac:

To enable location:  On your Mac with macOS 13 or later Choose Apple menu, select System Settings, click Privacy & Security> click Location Services> turn Location Services on or off> enter your password if asked> then click Unlock.

To enable Wi-Fi:  Here are the steps to enable Wi-Fi on your Mac:

1.      Click on the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.

2.      Select “System Settings” (or “System Preferences” on older versions of macOS).

3.      Click on “Wi-Fi” in the sidebar. You might need to scroll down to find it.

4.      Toggle the switch next to “Wi-Fi” to turn it on.

5.      Select the Wi-Fi network you want to join from the list of available networks.

6.      Enter the network password if prompted, then click “Join”.

To enable Bluetooth:

Here are the steps to enable Bluetooth on your Mac:

1.      Click on the Apple menu () in the top-left corner of your screen.

2.      Select “System Settings” (or “System Preferences” on older versions of macOS).

3.      Click on “Bluetooth” in the sidebar. You might need to scroll down to find it.

4.      Toggle the switch next to “Bluetooth” to turn it on.

5.      Wait for your Mac to scan for available Bluetooth devices.

6.      Select the device you want to connect to from the list.

7.      Enter the device’s pairing code if prompted, then click “Pair”.

For PC: Make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled (connection to Wi-Fi network is not required).

To enable location: On your PC, Go to Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Location>Turn ON

To enable Wi-Fi:

Here are the steps to enable Wi-Fi on your Windows PC:

1.      Open the Settings menu by clicking on the Start button and then the gear icon.

2.      Select “Network & Internet”.

3.      Click on “Wi-Fi” in the sidebar.

4.      Toggle the switch next to “Wi-Fi” to turn it on.

5.      Click on “Show available networks”.

6.      Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to from the list.

7.      Enter the network password if prompted, then click “Connect”

To enable Bluetooth:

Here are the steps to enable Bluetooth on your Windows PC:

1.      Open the Settings menu by clicking on the Start button and then the gear icon.
